The Kanoo Group bags nomination for Best Employer Brand at the 2019 LinkedIn awards

Dubai, UAE: The Kanoo Group, one of the largest family-owned conglomerates in the region established in 1890, was shortlisted as a nominee for “Best Employer Brand – 500 to 1000 employees” as one of the top employer brands in the region at the recently held LinkedIn MENA Talent Awards.

The prestigious award is a culmination of efforts of The Kanoo Group’s Marketing Team in adapting to the ever-changing social media and technology landscape when it comes to the field of employer branding and marketing.

LinkedIn, one the world’s biggest professional networking platforms, recognised and awarded The Kanoo Group as one of the sought-after employers across the MENA for its strong brand reputation through effective use of marketing communications in building talent, inclusion and diversity for employee engagement.

The Kanoo Group also won the “Best Talent Acquisition Team – Other MENA Countries” for two consecutive years at the LinkedIn MENA Talent Awards led by HR Talent Acquisition Team.

Dubai, UAE: The Kanoo Group, one of the longest-running, family-owned conglomerates in the region won the“Best Talent Acquisition Team – Other MENA Countries” and nominated as a finalist in the “Best Employer Brand – 500 to 1000 employees” at the 2019 LinkedIn MENA Talent Awards.

The 5^th Edition of MENA Talent Awards was held at the Four Seasons Resort in Jumeirah, Dubai on 20^th November 2019 under the theme, “The Future of Talent” with the presence of the UAE Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Omar bin Sultan Al Olama.

The award was received on behalf of The Kanoo Group’s HR Talent Acquisition Team led by Ms. Amna Al Mheiri, Group Talent Acquisition Manager together with Mr. Mohammad Tariq, HR Manager (UAE & Oman), and Ms. Fatna Jabeur, Associate Manager Talent Acquisition.

Mr. Mishal Kanoo, Chairman (UAE & Oman) and Ms. Maha Kanoo, GM, HR & Administration (UAE & Oman) congratulated the team behind the success and wished them all the best in their future endeavors.

Mr. Fahad Kanoo, CEO (UAE & Oman) also expressed, “Now I am very confident that we don’t have to engage with any outsource recruitment agencies as our HR Talent Acquisition team is fully capable of handling the recruitment needs of the whole Group globally.”

The Kanoo Group (UAE & Oman) is one of the few companies that have been recently nominated as a Finalist for more than one category. For the second consecutive year, it also won the same category for Best Talent Acquisition Team – Other MENA Countries.
