pricing strategies and announcement of several developments that drive value to
customer’s travel management programs were highlighted as enhancements to AMEX

in new training resources, quality tools and corporate payment solution were
also announced.
The Forum members also welcomed two new agents from Afghanistan and Tunisia to the AMEX Travel Network, and shared success stories and various other business related matters with partners.
Speaking after the conference, Nabeel Kanoo, Director, Kanoo Travel said: “We hosted the initial meeting in Dubai back in 2011 and then decided to host it annually at one of the partner’s home country each year. Choosing Jordan didn’t come as a surprise to anyone, as the safety, beauty and hospitality of this country made it the perfect destination for our 2013 forum. At Kanoo, we always pursue promoting our partners, as well as their countries in an endeavor to reflect their true image. This experience in Jordan will help our partners understand the market better and identify opportunities for future initiatives”.
He added: “This event is a platform for all our partners to meet annually and discuss new opportunities, share local best practices and exchange thoughts on growth strategies for the future. In a world of globalization as a result of the tremendous developments in the Information Technology and Communications sector, such partnerships and leveraging of each other’s local strengths are essential to help us stay ahead of the international competition we all face in our markets. This meeting is proof of our ambitions in continuing and growing the Kanoo-American Express Network.”
H.E Munir Nassar, Managing Director - United Travel Agency stated: “Since we partnered with Kanoo in 1976, we’ve been proudly witnessing a series of achievements and success stories around the world. Our MENA network is being reinforced with the new partnerships we accumulated with many establishments in the Travel industry such as Airlines, Hotels, and Agents around the region, ensuring our clients the premium experience they deserve and has been promised by Kanoo-American Express Travel.”
When asked about choosing Jordan as the host destination, he commented: “Hosting the 2013 Forum in Jordan gave us the exceptional chance to escort our honorable partners to the world’s new Wonder Petra and the reviving Dead Sea which was nothing short of an astonishing experience”.
