Kanoo Machinery earns DP World's UAE Region Top Vendor Award for second consecutive year

Dubai, UAE – April 15, 2014: Kanoo Machinery, a member of The Kanoo Group received the DP World's UAE Region Top Vendor for 2013 during the awards ceremony held recently at Jebel Ali Port in Dubai. This is the second consecutive year that Kanoo Machinery earned the top honour.
 

DP World-UAE organizes this annual program in recognition for its top performers. This year, from among its 900 suppliers. The award was based on the overall contributing factors that have directly influenced sales, customer-service goals, inventory and margins, among others.

Senior officials of DP World-UAE: Mr. Mohammed Ali Ahmed, Chief Operations Officer; Mr. Esam Mohammed Khoori, Director of Procurement; and Mr. Rashed Al Mehairbi, Senior Manager-Procurement & Contracts, with the presence of Mr. Iqbal Khoory, Sr. Vice President-Global Procurement, Project Management, presented the award to Kanoo Machinery led by Mr. Bob Jennings, General Manager – GCC; together with Mr. Mogallan Bhagat, Field Sales Manager – Dubai; Mr. Praveen Hubli, Aftermarket Sales Manager – UAE; and Mr. Ahemad Sulaiman, Parts and Service Sales Representative – Dubai.

Mishal Kanoo Signs DP World Supply Deal

Dubai, UAE: Kanoo Machinery, a member of The Kanoo Group secured an exclusive long-term supply deal with DP World to further strengthen business optimism and the growing alliance between two of the region’s leading companies. 

Mr. Nabil Qayed (Technical Director), Mr. Jamal Ahmed Al Kindi (Manager-Materials Management) and other procurement officials from DP World attended the signing ceremony, with the presence of senior management members of The Kanoo Group and Kanoo Machinery.

In an opening speech, Mr. Mishal Kanoo said that The Kanoo Group is privileged and honoured to be associated with DP World. He is optimistic that the partnership can help make DP World become more successful and that The Kanoo Group will be proud to be a part of it.

Mr. Esam Khoori also commented that the strategic partnership is a great advantage with mutual benefits which can bring right results, with the right people.

DP World does not have to keep an inventory of spare parts for machines as this is done in Kanoo Machinery premises, and the required parts will be available 24/7. Therefore  efficiency and delivery time are greatly reduced, thus giving immense benefits to both parties.”

Kanoo Machinery wins DP World’s Top Vendor Award

Dubai, UAE – February 24, 2013: Kanoo Machinery, a member of The Kanoo Group led by Mr. Bob Jennings (General Manager) received DP World’s Top Vendor Award held recently at DP World-Jebel Ali, Dubai.

The accolade was initiated by DP world in recognition of Kanoo Machinery’s exemplary performance and ongoing contribution towards DP World UAE Region’s success in the year 2012.

The distinct survey resulted to Kanoo Machinery as: No. 1 Supplier in terms of total transactions; No. 2 Supplier in terms of total value of business done – representing DP World’s purchases in 2012; and No. 4 Supplier in terms of overall evaluation.

Mr. Jennings said that this is a momentous event for Kanoo Machinery mainly for Dubai Branch and Parts Team for their collaboration in achieving great customer service thus strengthening relationship with DP world.
