H.A.K Industrial Chemicals, a member of The Kanoo Group, once again demonstrated its leadership in the region's specialty chemicals industry at the Middle East Coatings Show (MECS) 2026, held September 28–30 at the Dubai Exhibition Center, Expo City Dubai — the first time the show has been hosted at the venue, positioned as the future of exhibitions in the region.
The company used the show to expand its network of supplier partnerships while reaffirming ties with existing ones, continuing to grow its footprint across the paint, coatings, construction chemicals and printing inks sector.
MECS is the region's only dedicated event for raw material suppliers and equipment manufacturers serving the paint and coatings industry, drawing exhibitors and visitors from across the GCC, the wider Middle East, Europe, Asia, parts of Africa and the Indian subcontinent.
"Despite the recent instability across the region, The Kanoo Group has held firm in the industrial chemicals market," said Venkatesan Krish, General Manager of H.A.K. Industrial Chemicals. "That resilience comes from the strength of our group with Kanoo Logistics assisting us in the import of chemicals and we've continued to make real progress with both our current principals and new partners. The focus was to keep our customers satisfied in these difficult circumstances and we have managed to achieve this to a great extent"
At the show, H.A.K. Industrial Chemicals also highlighted its ongoing work with a wide network of chemical partners, including Arabian Zinc, Cabot Corporation, Raichem S.p.A., LKAB, Pergan GmbH, Potters Industries, Active Minerals, Durga Group, Borica, Specialty Chemicals, Dynea AS, Hangzhou Jingyi Chemical Co., Ltd., CliQ, and Nouryon.
