The Kanoo Group organises 17th Blood Donation Campaign

Dubai, UAE: The Kanoo Group, in cooperation with the Blood Donation Center - Latifa Hospital, organised its 17^th Annual Blood Donation drive on 17^th December 2015 from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm, held at The Kanoo Group HAK Training Hall in Bur Dubai.

The campaign drew a record number of over 110 employees from the group, of which are 78 employees who were eligible to give blood after the necessary screening. The successful blood drive is a result of the continuous efforts of The Kanoo Group in promoting awareness program that encourages each member of the society to donate blood to save and improve lives.

Year after year, The Kanoo Group, through the initiative of the Marketing Department, has been organising the annual campaign to help such organisations in ensuring adequate blood supply for patients in times of tragedy and need. 

Mr. Ali Islim on behalf of Marketing Department, said, “We are very thankful to each and everyone in the group for their time and effort to join us and be a part of this priceless moment. You are the very reason for the success of today’s event. One blood donor can save up to three lives. Your initiative makes a huge difference in the lives of people around us, and our community.”

“We also would like to thank the Property Department for their constant help throughout the event and to the members of the Management for joining us in the campaign.  A member of the Kanoo family likewise donated blood to support this health initiative and we sincerely extend our deep appreciation for the humble effort”, he added.

The 17^th Blood Donation Drive mostly received positive responses from individual participants. They said that it was a smooth process, well organised, and that the mementos are excellent as well.
