Kanoo Machinery discusses future business opportunities with Combilift, Enterprise Ireland

As part of its commitment to propel its business towards greater heights, Kanoo Machinery—a leading provider of world-class machinery brands for sales and aftersales in the region—recently met with representatives from Combilift, one of its trusted partners headquartered in Ireland, and Enterprise Ireland, the Government organisation responsible for the development and growth of Irish enterprises in world markets.

The meeting, conducted in the office of the division in Al-Quoz, highlighted potential business opportunities between Ireland and the UAE—through strengthening its partnership with Combilift.

An acknowledged leader in material handling industry, providing warehouse, bulk and long load handling solutions, Combilift is the largest global manufacturer of multi-directional forklifts and Straddle Carriers. Combilift has sold over 60,000 units in over 85 countries since its establishment in 1998. Its other brand, called Aisle-Master, manufactures narrow aisle articulated electric forklift—which are also distributed by Kanoo Machinery.

Enterprise Ireland acts as a trusted source of innovation for international companies by connecting them to cutting edge Irish products and services. The organization partners with Irish enterprises—such as Combilift—to help them start, grow, and innovate to win export sales in global markets. As Ireland’s national export agency, their goal is to simplify the purchasing process for customers and build long-term business relationships between international companies and Irish suppliers.

The meeting highlighted how the continued partnership between Kanoo Machinery and Combilift can be strengthened further, and how Enterprise Ireland can contribute to further putting the latter on the industry map as well as boosting its international operations—specifically in the Middle East.

Kannan Chandrasekaran, Kanoo Machinery’s Country Manager for UAE and Oman also highlighted some of the division’s achievements and operations, as well as how it helps its principals like Combilift.

Through the ethics that we have cultivated and our good brand positioning, we get to help our principals like Combilift distribute more industrial products within the region,” he said.

The Kanoo Group celebrates the UAE’s 50th National Day

Dubai, UAE: The Kanoo Group recently organized small celebration last November 30 in line with the country’s 50^th National Day. 

 

Observing proper precautionary measures, The Kanoo Group was able to organize small events at its main office in Bur Dubai, as well as its offices in Al Quoz & Abu Dhabi, to commemorate the country's independence for the past five decades.

This special occasion held at Dubai Main Office was graced by Ms. Maha Kanoo, General Manager - HR & Administration (UAE & Oman) as well as Mr. Fahad Kanoo, the CEO of The Kanoo Group-UAE & Oman, who led the cake-cutting ceremony.

 In the Abu Dhabi office, on the other hand, the small celebration was led by Mr. Mohamed Abdul Latif Kanoo, Deputy Chairman of The Kanoo Group.

The Kanoo Group offices were likewise adorned with miniature UAE flags and decorations to mark the special celebration, with giveaways being given to add delight to the festivities.

 

The 50^th National Day of the UAE also kicked off the last holiday break of this year, as the 1^st and 2^nd of December were declared public holidays.
