The Gulf Business Awards 2024, hosted on 24 September, celebrated and recognized the outstanding achievements of businesses and individuals in the Gulf region. Held at The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), this prestigious event brought together the best and brightest from a range of industries.
Organized by Motivate Media Group, which also marked its 45th anniversary, the 12th Gulf Business Awards honored excellence in leadership, innovation, and success across the GCC.
A highlight of the evening was the presentation of the Lifetime Achievement Award to Mishal Kanoo, Chairman of The Kanoo Group. This accolade recognizes Kanoo’s enduring contributions to the regional business landscape. Known as one of the Middle East’s most influential business leaders, Kanoo heads one of the Gulf’s largest and most respected familyowned conglomerates.
In his acceptance speech, Kanoo shared words of wisdom that resonated with the audience: “True business success is not measured in quarters, but in generations. It requires the tenacity to weather storms, the vision to see beyond horizons, and the courage to lead by example. Perseverance is the silent force that turns challenges into steppingstones for greater achievements.”
