In an opening speech, Mr. Mishal Kanoo said that The Kanoo Group is privileged and honoured to be associated with DP World. He is optimistic that the partnership can help make DP World become more successful and that The Kanoo Group will be proud to be a part of it.

Mr. Esam Khoori also commented that the strategic partnership is a great advantage with mutual benefits which can bring right results, with the right people.

“I would like to thank Kanoo Machinery for their initiative, walking the extra mile with DP World in bringing this business relationship from customers’ to partners’ level. This consignment of spare parts wouldn’t come to reality if not for their efforts and in believing in DP World as a successful international company representing Dubai and the UAE,” said Mr. Jamal Ahmed Al Kindi.

Shakil Merchant, Divisional Sales Manager-UAE, Kanoo Machinery added, “Kanoo Machinery had been looking forward to this day and we have been working hard for a long time to achieve this. At last this deal has come true and is a good association of the business with the consignment stock keeping in DP World.”

As the organiser for the event, Praveen Hubli, Aftermarket Sales Manager-UAE, Kanoo Machinery further said, “The consignment stock concept discussed with DP World was very much appreciated and welcomed. DP World does not have to keep an inventory of spare parts for machines as this is done in Kanoo Machinery premises, and the required parts will be available 24/7. Therefore  efficiency and delivery time are greatly reduced, thus giving immense benefits to both parties.”

This undertaking is another mark of a long-term business commitment that The Kanoo Group shares with DP World. Most recently, Kanoo Machinery has also received the Top Vendor Award for the year 2012 by DP World, as a constant reminder of their good business relationships and dedication that brings business opportunities up to the next level.
